RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: March 3, 2026

1. General Policy

All sales of artwork are final. Paninap Art Gallery does not accept returns or issue refunds once artwork has been purchased and shipped, except under the limited circumstances outlined in this policy.

2. Why This Policy Exists

At Paninap Art Gallery, we specialize in original artwork and collectible pieces that are unique in nature. Our strict return policy exists for the following important reasons:

2.1 Uniqueness and Irreplaceability

  • Each artwork in our collection is either an original piece or a limited edition collectible
  • Many pieces are one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated or reproduced
  • Once an artwork leaves our gallery, we cannot guarantee its authenticity or condition if returned

2.2 Fragility and Preservation

  • Artworks are delicate and highly susceptible to damage during handling and transportation
  • Even minor damage to original artwork or collectibles can significantly diminish their value and aesthetic integrity
  • Restoration of damaged artwork is often impossible, extremely costly, or may compromise the piece's authenticity and collectible value

2.3 Condition Integrity

  • We take extensive measures to ensure each piece is in pristine condition before shipment
  • Once artwork is in transit or delivered, we cannot control environmental factors, handling, or storage conditions
  • Any damage that occurs outside our facility is irreversible and cannot be restored to its original state

2.4 Investment Protection

  • Collectible artwork represents both an aesthetic and financial investment
  • Our policy protects the integrity and value of these investments for all parties
  • It ensures that only pieces maintained in gallery-standard conditions are sold

By purchasing from Paninap Art Gallery, you acknowledge the unique nature of artwork and collectibles, and understand that these items require special consideration regarding returns and refunds.

3. No Returns or Refunds

Once an artwork is purchased and shipped, returns and refunds are strictly prohibited. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-return, no-refund policy.

4. Exceptions

4.1 Non-Receipt of Artwork

A refund may be issued only if:

  • The artwork is not received by the customer; AND
  • Non-receipt is confirmed through a formal investigation conducted by the shipping carrier and/or Paninap Art Gallery

4.2 Damaged Artwork

Returns may be accepted if:

  • The artwork arrives in damaged condition;
  • The damage is reported within 48 hours of delivery;
  • Photographic evidence of the damage is provided; AND
  • The artwork is returned in the same condition as received

Important: No refund will be issued if the artwork is damaged during the return process or shows additional damage beyond what was initially reported.

5. Return Process

If your return is approved under Section 4.2:

5.1 Shipping Costs

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
  • We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method
  • Paninap Art Gallery is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment

5.2 Restocking Fee

  • A non-refundable restocking fee of $50.00 (USD) applies to all approved returns
  • This fee will be deducted from any refund amount

5.3 Return Authorization

  • Contact our customer service team to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping any items
  • Returns without an RA number will not be accepted

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Inspection Period

  • Returned items will be inspected within 5-7 business days of receipt
  • Refunds will only be processed if the artwork passes inspection

6.2 Refund Method

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account

6.3 Refund Amount

  • Original purchase price minus the $50.00 restocking fee
  • Shipping costs (original and return) are non-refundable

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • Custom or commissioned artwork
  • Artwork that has been altered, framed, or modified after delivery
  • Artwork showing signs of use, display, or improper storage
  • Items returned without prior authorization

8. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive damaged or defective artwork:

  • Contact us immediately using the contact information below
  • Provide your order number and photographic evidence
  • Do not discard packaging materials, as they may be needed for inspection

10. Policy Changes

Paninap Art Gallery reserves the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Philippines.


By making a purchase from Paninap Art Gallery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Return and Refund Policy. You further acknowledge that artwork and collectibles are unique, fragile items that cannot be easily restored or replicated once damaged.
